This project transformed the high school into the “Jewel of Main Street”. The project included complete renovation of the original classroom and administration building, new classroom building, gymnasium, woodshop, and metal shop.

Axiom Engineers’ (sm) services included site utilities, fire protection, plumbing, and HVAC design. Among the fundamental challenges to be met were respecting the traditional architecture while adhering to a tight budget.

The classroom building included a full service kitchen/cafeteria, library, and science classrooms. The wood shop is a full-scale commercial-grade wood shop. Mechanical systems are a mixture of classroom furnaces, packaged rooftop heating and air conditioning, and rooftop gas heating units. The control system is direct digital type (DDC).
