This project consisted of designing
an industrial refrigeration system for a new produce
cooling facility which pre-cools, stores, and
ships fresh vegetables. Design cooler temperature
is 35 °F with approximately 35,000 square
feet of refrigerated floor space. The refrigeration
system utilizes ammonia as the refrigerant. Equipment,
controls, piping and supports were designed and
specified for industrial quality, efficiency,
and safety.
